Since graduating in 2012 with a degree in Musical Theatre, I worked for 7 years as a freelance singer. I now work as an Arts Facilitator for two charities as well as writing plays and short educational shows.
​
I now have nine years experience writing for a number of online and printed publications covering a range of different subjects and varying in length and style.
I have also written short plays for adults and children, all of which have been produced and performed on stage.

Shebaa's Adventure To Jopplety How
May 2020
Commissioned by Concrete Youth, a theatre company who make theatre for PMLD audiences, I developed and wrote a 20 minute original script for an online sensory show.

Plastic Band
March 2020
As part of the Takeover Festival, I wrote, produced and directed a two person play about the affects of climate change and the importance of musical expression. Aimed at Key Stage Two aged children. It was performed at Junction in Goole.

Anxious Annie
February 2020
An original short play surrounding one woman's battle with her mental health. This was the second piece to be commissioned and produced by Northern Stage in Newcastle as part of their Playing Up evening.

How Not To Date
February 2019
I wrote an original short play that was commissioned and produced as part of Northern Stage's Playing Up 9. |I was heavily involved with the casting and rehearsal process of the piece and it was performed in February 2019.
